Singaraja, In order to improve the quality of study programs at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha), field assessment surveillance has been carried out on the transformation from third diploma to applied bachelor’s degree in two study programs at FTK, Software Engineering Technology, and Electronic Systems Engineering Technology, FTK carries out Field Assessment Surveillance activities by BAN-PT activities which are carried out in the FTK food service room, activities which last for 2 days, on Monday, June 5 2023 for the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) study program and Wednesday, June 7 2023 for Electronic Systems Engineering Technology Study Program (TRSE), this activity was attended by the Deputy Chancellor I, the Dean and Deputy Deans, Heads of the Undiksha Unit, Head of Study Program within the FTK environment and Deputy Lecturers.
The two study programs were surveyed regarding the feasibility of implementing an Applied Bachelor’s program through an assessment of 30 indicators, namely curriculum, human resources, and students. The assessment was carried out to review learning facilities, especially the laboratory section.
The Executive Council present for the Applied Undergraduate study program at the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Affairs is Prof. Ari Purbayanto and Prof. Tjokorde Samadhi Valmiki with each assessor for the TRPL Study Program being Assessor I (Iwan Syarif, S.Kom., M.Kom., MSc., PhD.) from the Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic, Assessor II (Raden Venantius Hari Ginardi, Dr., Ir., M.Sc.) from the Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, Vocational Staff Sidiq Agung Sutrisna and BAN-PT Staff Maryana on Monday 5 June 2023 then for the TRSE Study Program with Assessor I (Francisco Danang Wijaya, Dr., Eng ., ST., MT. D.Eng.) and Assessor II (Era Purwanto, Dr.Ir. M.Eng) on ??Wednesday 7 June 2023. Many inputs have been provided by the Assessors regarding curriculum improvements and effective strategies for increasing the number of students, as well as collaboration with industry. The FTK leadership is very grateful for the constructive input provided by the assessors and is optimistic about making improvements to improve the quality of the Applied Bachelor’s study program at FTK
