Academic spirit once again brings honor to the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies at Undiksha. On October 16, two FTK students who were participating in an international internship program at KGEO, Thailand, had a special opportunity to present their work in front of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Science and three lecturers from Curtin University, Australia, during a collaborative meeting between the two universities.
In the session, the two students showcased the achievements of their internship over the past 1.5 months. Despite the relatively short time of work, their presentation received very positive responses, both regarding the quality of their work and the relevance of the topics addressed within the collaboration scheme of FTK Undiksha with international partners.
The appreciation given by international academics does not stop at the internship results. They also directly express support and encouragement for students to continue their studies at the master’s level in Australia, even opening opportunities to obtain scholarship recommendations if students are interested in pursuing the next level.
Although it is still too early to draw a final conclusion, this opportunity serves as a positive signal for strengthening international networks and developing the academic careers of FTK students. Hopefully, this achievement will be the beginning of the best outcomes for students, the faculty, and international cooperation that continues to grow in the future
