Thailand-31/11/2025. Student representatives from the Software Engineering Technology (TRPL) Study Program, Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies (FTK) at Undiksha had the opportunity to participate in an international academic activity along with two FTK lecturers, namely Dr. I Gede Partha Sindu, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Kadek Yota Ernanda Aryanto, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. This activity took place after the group arrived in Thailand the previous day.
During the visit to industry partner KGEO, the FTK Undiksha team demonstrated a Virtual Reality (VR) application, which is one of the student innovation products that won third place at the SI FEST UNSRI 2025 event. The VR application demo received positive attention from the partner because it showcased the application of immersive technology relevant to industry needs.
In addition to visiting partners, the FTK Undiksha delegation also had the opportunity to conduct a VR application demo directly in the classroom. On this occasion, Dr. I Gede Partha Sindu, S.Pd., M.Pd., served as a speaker, presenting material on the theme of Virtual Reality-Based Research Development and Its Applications in Data Mining. The material was delivered in the Data Mining course to students of the Faculty of Science, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).
This activity not only strengthened academic collaboration between Undiksha and KMUTT but also provided international experience for TRPL students in presenting technological works and broadened their insights into cutting-edge research in the fields of VR and data mining.
