Tenganan Pegringsingan Village, Amlapura Regency, is one of the areas in Bali as a producer of Prasi Lontar and Gringsing Woven Fabric. This craft is expected to be a source of sustainable income for the community to improve the economy. As a result, the students of UNDIKSHA or Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Ganesha University of Education) also took strategic steps through the innovation programme, which was also a sociopreneurship competition in digital technology through the collaboration of PT Telkom Indonesia with universities.
Innovillage 2021 is a digital technology competition for social entrepreneurs (sociopreneurship). InnoVillage 2021 is organized by PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in collaboration with Telkom University, the Indonesian Chancellor’s Forum, APERTI BUMN, and the Indonesia Career Center Network (ICCN). This competition is held as one of Telkom’s ways to increase digital talent in Indonesia and prove the company’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s digital transformation program. This year, InnoVillage was held with the theme Empowering Young Sociopreneur for Sustainable Digital Village.
This time, InnoVillage can be followed by students from all universities in Indonesia. Students interested in participating in this competition must register and submit a project proposal first. After the selection, 120 digital innovation works will be obtained, which will receive funding from Telkom and then be realized as solutions for the community. The innovations from this competition are targeted to be applicable and oriented toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to bring many benefits to society, the economy, and the environment.
