Another proud achievement was achieved by a class of 2018 students of the Information Systems Study Programme, UNDIKSHA. Fachradina Yuniar and the team were finalists at the Fesyar or Festival Ekonomi dan Keuangan Syariah (Islamic Economics and Finance Festival), Bank Indonesia, Bali Province. Fachradina Yuniar, who collaborated with Nadia Rahma Shafira from the Vocational Culinary Arts Education Study Programme, University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), won 1st place at the provincial level for the Sharia Business Model competition branch, which was announced Friday (19/6).
Fachradina Yuniar, who plays the role of CEO of this mobile application design, won 1st place through a startup idea called “Halal Butcher’s Bali”. Fachradina Yuniar led the team through the guidance of a SIFORS lecturer who succeeded in eliminating 26 other teams.
Halal Bucther’s Bali is a mobile application-based platform that aims to connect meat butchers and stockers with sharia-compliant meat buyers. The idea of ??building a startup was formed due to many tourists from outside Bali, both domestic and foreign, who vacationed in Bali. This is certainly an excellent opportunity for industry players in the culinary field, especially halal food providers, because of the presence of Muslim tourists. Therefore, Halal Butcher’s Bali application will be a useful medium with a symbiotic mutualism between meat suppliers, meat cutters, and meat buyers who are guaranteed halal and run according to sharia principles.
In the next stage, Fachradina Yuniar with the team will be representatives of the Bali Province branch of the Sharia Business Model competition at the national level, which is expected to be held next October in Jakarta. Once again, congratulations to Fachradina Yuniar and the team. I hope you continue to excel. SIFORS…Excellent…Excellent…Excellent…
