The Engineering and Vocational Faculty (FTK) of Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) carried out outreach and P2M in Banyuwangi. This time FTK visited high schools/vocational schools in Banyuwangi district to achieve one of its community service missions. This is one of the activities to increase the existence of FTK at regional and national levels. As stated in FTK’s vision “To Become a Superior Faculty in the Technology and Vocational Fields Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045”. This activity was carried out in the Hall of SMK Negeri 1 Glagah from 26 to 28 April 2019. Participants in this socialization and P2M activity involved students from SMKN 1 Glagah and teachers from various high schools/vocational schools in the Banyuwangi district.
In his speech, the Dean of FTK (Dr. I Gede Sudirtha, M.Pd) expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from SMKN 1 Glagah. The Dean of FTK hopes that “with this outreach activity there will be a collaboration between SMKN 1 Glagah and the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies because several study programs at FTK are relevant for graduates of SMKN 1 Glagah to continue their studies.” Furthermore, this activity was opened directly by the principal of SMKN 1 Glagah, in his speech the Principal said that he appreciated activities like this, this activity will provide sufficient information for our students who will continue to a higher level, so that students -Our female students will understand better and be able to make the right decision in choosing the appropriate university.
To introduce FTK further, the socialization team displayed a profile video of the Technical and Vocational Faculty which was followed by the implementation of P2M in each of the rooms provided. At the end of the activity, the FTK Dean handed over souvenirs to the principal of SMKN 1 Glagah who was accompanied by Deputy Dean II (Dr. Komang Setemen, S.Si., M.T.), and Deputy Dean III (Cokorda Istri Raka Marsiti, S.Pd., M.Pd.) and witnessed by all activity participants. At the end of the event, the Dean of FTK and the Principal of SMKN 1 Glagah hope that this activity will be the beginning of collaboration between FTK and SMKN 1 Glagah. Dr
