Singaraja-FTK or Fakultas Teknik dan Kejuruan (Faculty of Engineering and Vocational), UNDIKSHA conducted a Journal Management Workshop to improve the journal’s quality, which was attended by educators within the FTK.

FTK was conducting a workshop on Thursday, December 16, 2021, to improve the quality of journals within the FTK. The activity was conducted online through a virtual Zoom Meeting and opened by the Dean of FTK, Dr. I Gede Sudirtha, M.Pd. In his speech, he hoped that the grade of journals within the FTK UNDIKSHA could be improved and trusted by writers to publish their scientific articles in the FTK UNDIKSHA journal.

The speaker who was invited to this Workshop activity was Dr. I Wayan Widiana, S.Pd., M.Pd., the journal manager at UNDIKSHA. He conveyed much information regarding the Direction and Policy of Journal Accreditation. The speaker said that “The problem that usually occurs when improving the grade of a journal is that there are still many journal managers who do not understand research methods and the OJS system and recognize quality articles,”

After a discussion session, this activity ended with handing over certificates to the speaker. It is hoped that this activity will add insight to journal managers to increase the grade of journals within the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational and add to the positive image of FTK in particular and UNDIKSHA in particular.
