Students from the Engineering and Vocational Faculty of Ganesha Education University achieved international-level achievements by MAHAPATI. This time it came from the 2021 Darulaman International Innovation, Competition and Exhibition (DiLCE) event which took place on 5-6 July 2021. MAHAPATI with the name Gusti Aditya Trisna Murti who was part of the Undiksha team managed to win a gold medal.
This prestigious event was organized by the Institute of Teacher Education, Darulaman Campus together with the Kedah Darul Aman State Government, the Center of Excellence Geopolymer and Green Technology (CEGeogTech), and the Malaysian Research & Innovation Society (MyRIS), University of Perlis Malaysia (UniMAP). There are at least 350 innovations in the competition, works from participants from various countries.
Aditya and the Undiksha team presented Kolok. id’s work: An Application for Digital Learning Media Integrated with Game and Kolok Dictionary to Improve Kolok Students’ Learning Performance in Covid-19 Pandemic. This work is an application developed with the main aim of making things easier for students to stamp duty (speech impaired) in receiving each lesson and facilitating student communication. The main features contained in this application include basic competencies and indicators, teaching materials, crossword games, quizzes, kolok dictionaries, and usage guides. This application is also relevant to use during the COVID-19 pandemic to support student learning from home.
Apart from being proud of their achievements, through this event, the team also gained experience in sharing knowledge with other participants, who have the same vision, namely advancing education. The team hopes that in the future their work can be further developed and implemented directly in a sustainable manner in inclusive schools and for speech-impaired children.
