Singaraja, 10 December 2025 — The Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies (FTK) at Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha welcomed an official visit from PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI), faculty members from Telkom University, and several industry partners to follow up on the Working Arrangement Program for the Basic License Aircraft Maintenance Training Organization (AMTO). This visit served as a continuation of the coordination meetings and technical discussions previously attended by the FTK Undiksha team on 26 November 2025 in Denpasar.
The meeting, held at the FTK Undiksha campus, focused on mapping and aligning the curricula of three related study programs—Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (TRSE), Mechanical Engineering Education (PTM), and Electrical Engineering Education (PTE)—with the AMTO matriculation–conversion scheme. PT DI and its partners requested curriculum documents, syllabi, and Semester Learning Plans (RPS) from each program to be aligned with AMTO module standards. Additionally, comprehensive data on laboratory facilities, practice rooms, and supporting equipment were required for the assessment of infrastructure readiness.
All submitted data will be processed by PT DI together with AMTO Providers and technical partners as the basis for formulating certification recommendations for Undiksha. This step marks a critical phase in preparing the implementation of the AMTO Basic License Program, which is planned to commence in the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 academic year in accordance with the timeline stated in the Working Arrangement document.
During the discussion, PT DI also expressed its expectation that Undiksha can become a key provider of human resources in Bali for the development of aircraft maintenance technicians. Through this collaboration, students in Bali are expected to gain broader access to participate in AMTO certification programs, thereby opening competitive career opportunities in the aerospace industry, both nationally and internationally.
This visit serves as an important momentum for FTK Undiksha to strengthen its industrial network, enhance the quality of vocational and professional education, and reinforce Undiksha’s position as a strategic partner in the development of human resource competencies in engineering and aerospace. FTK Undiksha remains committed to fully supporting curriculum alignment and technical facilitation to ensure the successful implementation of this program.
