The aim of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is to become a Reputable International University and Trendsetter University. There are indicators to measure the achievement of these goals, one of which is strengthening and improving Undiksha’s human resources. There are Key Performance Indicators (IKU) from the government that can guide achieving this goal, such as increasing the percentage of permanent lecturers who have competency/professional certificates recognized by industry and the world of work.
To achieve this IKU, training and certification activities are carried out in the form of Training of Trainers (TOT), especially in the field of Mikrotik computer network competency. In this activity, 2 experts (TA) will be invited, namely Mr. Antonius Duty Susilo and Mr. Faishal Abdurrochman Zarkasyi by opening 2 types of classes, namelyMikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA) andMikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE). This activity will last for 10 days (13 – 22 August 2021).
The benefit that can be taken from this Mikrotik Training of Trainers activity is increasing the competence of lecturers in Mikrotik as certified trainers. It is hoped that in the future lecturers can provide training to their students in preparation for international competency certification exams. If students succeed in obtaining an international-scale competency certificate, it will have an impact on increasing the percentage of undergraduate graduates who succeed in getting jobs.
This activity was attended by 8 lecturers all of whom succeeded in obtaining MTCNA and MTCERE competency certificates: Gede Made Surya Bumi Pracasitaram from the Electrical Engineering Education study program, Made Santo Gitakarma from the Electrical Engineering study program, I Ketut Purnamawan and Kadek Yota Ernanda Aryanto from the Computer Science study program, I Made Edy Listartha and Gede Arna Jude Saskara from the Information Systems study program and finally 2 lecturers from the Informatics Engineering Education study program Gede Saindra Santyadiputra and I Gede Bendesa Subawa
