The Technical and Vocational Faculty Leadership Meeting was held online on Wednesday (21/04) through a zoom meeting. The meeting this time was chaired by the Dean of the FTK, I Gede Sudirtha, which was attended by the deputy deans, study program coordinators, and heads of labs in the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Affairs.
This meeting is held as a forum for discussion on the evaluation of work programs and activities that have been carried out as well as preparations for future activities. The meeting was opened by the Vice Dean I, Ketut Agustini. Then, it was followed by a speech from the Dean of FTK as well as conveying the agenda related to the discussion of the April 2021 leadership meeting.
The agenda that will be discussed in general is the results of the meeting between the dean and the head of the rector, discussions of each deputy dean regarding work programs, and others. The first agenda related to the delivery of the results of the leadership meeting with the rector was delivered by the Dean of FTK. The results of the meeting discussed the registration of new students from the SMBJM pathway which will open on May 3, 2021 through the implementation of UTBK. In addition, the institutional development donation policy for the talent interest pathway has been abolished. Regarding the development specifically in the FTK environment, the Diploma 3 vocational study program has submitted a proposal to upgrade to the Diploma 4 level.
The activity was continued with a discussion of each deputy dean which was preceded by a report from the Deputy Dean I, Ketut Agustini. He conveyed that he was related to the formation of a cluster and Ad Hoc team leader in 2021. In addition, the discussion that was delivered regarding the Deputy Dean I’s work program was the result of identifying the use of the e-learning platform for FTK learning, which was known based on graphics obtained from UPT-TIK Undiksha around 78 % FTK lecturers use e-learning as a teaching medium during a pandemic. This is deemed necessary to increase the use and efficiency of the platform so that online learning can run well. Then, it is followed by a discussion of the results of monitoring and evaluation of the quality control groups of the faculty and study programs for odd semester 20/21.
The next discussion was delivered by the Deputy Dean II, Komang Setemen, who conveyed the faculty attendance policy which will start in July 2021. In addition, the progress of the extension of the LCI and Ilkom lab rooms is expected to be used appropriately after it is completed at the end of this month. Finally, he conveyed the faculty budget absorption capacity of 9.6 percent so that it can be allocated properly and carefully.
The final discussion was continued by the Deputy Dean III, Cok Wife of Raka Marsiti. He talked about student activities related to the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW). Where the program was presented with a budget of 4 million per proposal. In addition, he also conveyed the renewal of points recognized at SIMKATMAWA, where the recognized copyright is the copyright where the student is the main author. In addition, industrial apprenticeship certificates, teaching certificates (other than PPL), and also a fundraising decree can be submitted to add SIMKATMAWA points.
The activity ended with a question and answer session and a brief discussion related to the next discussion. At the leadership meeting this time, it was seen that the FTK staff were very active and determined to increase the clustering of faculties which earlier this year managed to get first place in Undiksha.
