Bandung – The Mahapati Team of the Engineering and Vocational Faculty (FTK) Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) made a brilliant achievement by winning third place in the Digital Microteaching Division in the 2023 LIDM (Student Digital Innovation Competition) held at the Indonesian Education University, Bandung. This success is a source of pride for the team and also for Undiksha as an educational institution that is highly committed to developing the potential of its students.
The team that won the championship was the Wipe Out Team which competed in the Digital Microteaching Division. This team is led by Ni Wayan Anik Puspita Sari as Team Leader, supported by Supervisor, Dr. Phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M. Eng. Apart from that, the Wipe Out Team also consists of very talented members, namely Putri Eodytha Aisya Purnomo, Gede Yuda Aditya, and Wayan Pancadana.
They managed to steal the attention of the jury with the title of their work entitled “Digital Microteaching UTP Cabling Material with Project Base Learning Model”. This work carries an innovative and interactive learning concept, using a project-based learning approach to teach UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) wiring material. The Wipe Out team succeeded in presenting the material in an interesting and engaging way, thereby increasing students’ understanding.
Dr. Phil. Dessy Seri Wahyuni, S.Kom., M. Eng, as the team’s supervisor and also the Informatics Engineering Education Study Program Coordinator, Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Studies, expressed her pride in the achievements achieved by the Wipe Out Team. He revealed that the team had worked hard and was very committed to preparing their work for the LIDM event. The Supervisor also hopes that this success can be a motivation for other PTI Undiksha students to continue to innovate and achieve brilliant achievements.
The success of the Wipe Out Team in winning third place in the Digital Microteaching Division at LIDM in 2023 is clear evidence that Undiksha has the potential and high quality of education in the fields of technology and education. Apart from that, this achievement also shows that PTI Undiksha is able to compete with other universities on the national stage.
PTI FTK Undiksha Study Program Coordinator hopes that this achievement will be the first step for its students to continue to excel and make the name of the study program and university proud. It is also hoped that this success can be an inspiration for other educational institutions to continue to encourage and support students in developing creativity and innovation in the field of digital education.
