2021 is the year of internationalization as stipulated in milestone institution in this case Undiksha. Undiksha’s Technical and Vocational Faculty (FTK) welcomed this program by creating a task for internationalization at Home (IaH). Through a task force led by Made Windu Antara Kesiman, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., FTK continues to prepare towards Internationalization at Home.

One of the activities designed by the IaH FTK team is a Teaching Practice Workshop in English (Microteaching in English) chaired by Nyoman Sugihartini, S.Pd., M.Pd. This workshop was carried out as an effort to support the program to open international classes and prepare to accept foreign students. This workshop presented Nunik Sugesti, M.Hum as the workshop resource person. The workshop was held twice, namely on 22 and 29 May 2021.

The workshop, which was conducted online via Zoom Meeting, was attended by Vice Chancellor I Undiksha, the Dean of FTK Undiksha, and all lecturers within FTK Undiksha. Workshop participants received material along with tips and tricks at the first meeting. After that, the participants created and collected short videos of teaching exercises in English. At the second meeting, participants listened to reviews from resource persons.

The COVID-19 pandemic did not dampen the enthusiasm of the participants in taking part in the workshop. This can be seen from the presence and enthusiasm of the participants in taking part in the workshop even though it was held at the weekend. The participants actively asked questions and were not shy about trying to practice directly during the workshop.
