In order to implement PKKM or Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (Independent Campus Competition Programme), five students of the Informatics Engineering Study Programme conduct an industrial internship for one semester. This activity was conducted in the form of PKL or Praktik Kerja Lapangan (Filed Work I) at one of the Information and Technology companies or BDI or Balai Diklat Industri (Industrial Training Center) for one semester (6 months), both offline and hybrid (online-offline) in the period July-December 2021. The internship at the BDI was entirely conducted online for July-December. In contrast, the internship at Dago Engineering Bandung was conducted online for July-September, and to be continued offline for October-December. 4 students on behalf of I Komang Yuda Muliawan, Gede Budi Setiawan, Ida Bagus Made Yudha Wirawan, and I Made Anand Sathya was conducting this industrial internship activity at di PT Dago Engineering Bandung, while one student on behalf of Ida Bagus Putu Surya Adiwiyasa was conducting this industrial internship activity at BDI, Denpasar. This activity is expected to be useful for students, add to the experience of direct interaction with the industrial world, and increase practical competence towards preparation for entering the world of work after the study period is complete. As for industrial partners, this activity is expected to increase interaction with the academic world to help identify gaps in needs between the industrial world and the academic world towards preparing university graduates ready to work.
