The Computer Science study program is one of nine study programs at the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational Education, Ganesha University. Established in 2018, this study program is one of the youngest study programs in the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational School. As the youngest study program, the academic community within the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational School is continuously improving their professionalism and quality in the management of teaching and learning activities in this study program. One of the program is conducting a Field Assessment in the context of accreditation of the Computer Science study program. This activity held from Friday, October 8, 2021 to Saturday, October 9, 2021.
In this online visitation activity, the Engineering and Vocational Faculty invited an assessor from Hasanuddin University, Dr. Amil Ahmad Ilham, S.T., M.IT., and Dr. Nur Rokhman, S.Si., M.Kom (Gajah Mada University). In addition, from the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational, attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational, Head of the Informatics Engineering Department, Head of the Computer Science Study Program, A.A. Gede Yudhi Paramartha, S.Kom., M.Kom., and the academic staff at the Faculty of Engineering and Vocational School.
This activity begins with the opening of the Field Assessment through the reading and signing of the Field Assessment Statement. Then an online visitation was carried out by visualizing classrooms, labs, lecturer rooms, libraries, and other supporting infrastructure directly. This was followed by a discussion regarding the supporting documents for accreditation and ended with the submission of the minutes to the UPPS Leader and checking the field assessment by the UPPS leadership.
This activity is expected to improve the quality of existing resources within the Computer Science study program in order to increase the accreditation that has been achieved so far.
